CAMAS COUNTY: T02S R15E S09 NWNW. South edge of Camas Prairie,
ca. 7 air-mi SE of Fairfield. Several hundred plants in seasonally-moist rocky
weak drainageway of Artemisia arbuscula - A. longiloba - A. tridentata weak
toeslopes of Mount Bennett Hills, beginning where drainage crosses HWY46
and continuing west for several hundred yards.	I Artemisia papposa, Poa
sandbergii, Wyethia amplexicaulis. Flowers pale yellow; rays inconspicuous;
achenes glabrous; pappus tawny. Stems strongly curved at base to nearly erect.
Severe rodent herbivoiy of flowering stalks. Area moderately grazed.
Elev: 1546m Slope: 0-3% Aspect: SE Ownership: private
Soil: fine-textured, shallow.
