SAGUACHE CO.: Approx. 30 mi SE of Gunnison on Hwy 114, Gunnison Nat’l Forest.
Habitat: Spruce/pine forest, near a stream in a
volcanic canyon. Some on rocky hillsides and
others on flat terrain. Abundant on both sides of
road.
Plants quite variable in appearance. Rays 7, 8,
9 or some 14; 9-11 mm long.
