US m Flora of California, U.S.A. Crassulaceae: Sedum kiersteadiae B.L. Wilson & R.E. Brainerd TRINITY COUNTY: Little Boulder Lake Trail #8N11, about 0.1 to 0.25 mile up form lake, or 0.1-0.25 mile down from intersection with main Boulder Lake Trail; UTM zone 10, 516918 east, 454416 north, +/- 30 feet (NAD83). Elevation 6200 feet. Petals spreading, yellow with pink midrib. Anthers yellow. Granitic opening very different from the surrounding subalpine conifer forest. Lots of large granite boulders present, 2-3 feet in diameter. Aspect 25°. Associated species: Pinus montícola, Pinus conforta, Arctostaphylos nevadensis, Holodiscus discolor, Eriogonum diclinum, Carex sp., Eriogonum umbellatum, Monardella cf. odoratissima, Silene lemmonii.
