2,300 ft., almost vertical, northern exposure, soil
micacious schists and humus; moist shaded seepage
at edge of Thuja plicata/Asarum caudatum habitat
type; locally ccanmon with Senecio triangularis,
Polystichum munitum, Adiantum pedatum, Tsuga
heterophylla and Alnus rubra; rhizomatous; height
3-6 decimeters.
