Description
Strict small trees 7 m. high; wood soft, white, odorless and tasteless; bark smoothish, brown; branches above the middle, lax, slender, spreading; leaves horizontally spreading, flat, submembranous, dull green above, yellowish beneath; inflorescence dark purple; calyx somewhat flattened, ascendingly and divaricately disposed, persistent; corolla deciduous, white throughout; style and filaments whitish; anthers dark brown or nearly black; ovary or young fruitsolive green, subglobose or obscurely obovoid, 2-seeded; the seed coat yellowish; flowers odorless.
