Habitat: Steep hillside of Pike’s Peak granite.
Widely scattered along roadside for 1/2 mi.
Plants: 14-30 cm tall; Rays 8 or 9, 7 mm long;
pubescence heavy at base of stem and axils of
leaves. Upper leaf surface mostly glabrous.
