Rays reddish-orange to yellowish orange,
particularly in the more immature plants.
Leaves subsucculent to firmish.
Frequent in a grass-sedge meadow, the general
aspect dominated by occasional Salix shrubs.
Growing with abundant Senecio integerrimus,
but no evidence of hybridization was found.
