of steep, north-facing slope; alluvial forest.
Site #116 (Lat. 34°09,30"; Long. 82°44,30M), ca.
0.5 mile east of County Road S2218 bridge over
Van Creek; ca. 1.5 mile west of confluence of Van
Creek with the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft.
contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake).
