Plaines River, west of Joliet I&M Canal Trail # 30 and
State Street, at northeast comer of former smelting
facility, along south margin of powerline access road
and north end of eastern dolomite ridge and quarry.
Crushed dolomite.
Disturbed open area, with Hedeoma, Panicum
capillare, Aristida curtissii, Sporobolus
vaginiflorus, Aristida oligantha. Flowers blue; locally
common in disturbed area.
