with a few white inflated spongy roots,
emergent flowering stems, dark green shiny
leaves, pale veins, flowers 27—31 mm
diameter, erect or ascending, bright yellow
petals, orange at base, 16—20 x 13—17
mm, sepals 9—11 mm, fruits 22—30 mm, 5-
angled, on nodding pedicels 25—40 mm;
locally common adventive, full sun, shallow
water, with Ludwigia palustris, Phalaris,
artificial pond near Taylor Creek, just E of
comer of Maxwell Road SE and SE 208th
