Greene Palomar Range, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area, northeastern base of Wildhorse Peak, west of Devil's Hole, along the Wildhorse Trail near the rounded gabbro peak known as "Agua" on USGS Vail Lake 7.5' quadrangle. T8S R1W center sec. 35. Elev. ca. 2500 feet. Chaparral on slopes of Adenostoma fasciculatum, A. sparsifolium, Ceanothus crassifolius, C. leucodermis, Arctostaphylos glandulosa, Quercus berberidifolia, and Eriodictyon crassifolium recovering from the 1989 fire.
