Steep slope with sparse talus, abundant rock outcrops, and mixed hardwood (Acer saccharum, Carya, Liriodendron, Nyssa, Prunus serotina) - conifer (Pinus taeda, P. virginianana) forest. saxicolous on conglomerate sandstone.
