Near 35.99185N, 116.32676W. to low rounded hill east of the highway 35.98702N, 11633034. Ended at 35.98025N, 11632538W near base of the hills, few steep knolls of dark gray limestone outcrops. Collection site near 35.98025° O'N, 11632538° O’W (Shoshone 15 minute Quad. 1951.: T22N, R6E S22,27) . Alt.: 673-685m/2208-2247ft. Sparse desert habitat. Bajada with sandy washes, canyons, and outcrops of bedrock, mostly of limestone. Plant species include: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Xylorhiza tortifolia, Hymenoclea salsola, Atriplex hymenelytra, Encelia frutescens, Lepidium fremontii, Ephedra funerea, Senna armata, Salvia funerea, Eucnide urens, Amphipappus fremontii, Pleurocoronis pluriseta, Peucephyllum schottii, Viguiera reticulata, Physalis crassifolia, and Funastrum hirtellum.
