Basal leaves entire to laciniate; heads pale yellow.
Rocky basaltic flat with Senecio, Antennaria, Arctostaphylos and
Ceanothus prostratus in scattered Pinus ponderosa, alt. 1350 feet.
Rough and Ready Creek, 5 miles south of Caves Junction.
