Upland Sonoran Desert, with Cercidium micro-
phyllum, Calliandra eriophylla, Psilostrophe,
Lupinus, Opuntia acanthocarpa, O. basilaris,
Fouquieria splendens, Eriogonum fasciculatum,
Encelia farinosa, Erioneuron pulchellum, Cano-
tia holacantha, Juniperus monosperma, Nolina
bigelovii, Yucca baccata, Marina parryi, Vigui-
era deltoidea, Hyptis emoryi, Lotus, Camissonia
californicri, Maurandya antirrhiniflora, Senecio,
Rhus ovata, Cercidium microphyllum, Rumex
hymenosepalus, Ericameria, Ferocactus wisli-
zenii, Salvia columbariae, Glandularia, Eriophyl-
lum wallacei. Local, robust tall annual along
sandy-fine granitic soil at roadside cut, flowers
dark blue.
