Name I SALVIA Cleveland! i x LEUCOPHYLLA
Other notes tThis plant has the rather large growth hat it
and large leaves of S. Leuconhvlla. but is not gray-folia-
ged but more nearly like S. Cleveland!!. The odor is some-
what like Clevelandii. but not as pleasing, and is not as
strong as Leucophylla. Flowers are a vivid light lavender
or in certain lights apparently blue, but not at all like
clear blue of S. Clevelandli. This is the finest hybrid
Salvia which has yet appeared in the Garden and should
prove to be well worth propagating*
Proposed as Salvia "Allen Chiekering. ?
