    In dense low forest of Pinus resinosa.

  • Description

    Tree, ca. 10-15 ft. tall. Apparently native. A few small trees, ca. 10-15 feet tall, with irregular crowns; coning earlyl possible a two-needle dwarf form of Pinus rigida. Taller trees of this type also seen by John Silba farther east in Cranberry Bog Reserve, Riverhead. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
