Mixed hardwood and coniferous woods with Pinus strobus, Pinus rigida, Tsuga, Acer rubrum, Quercus, Kalmia, Rhododendron, Amelanchier. Not common.

Description
Scraggly tree, 10-15 m. tall, 3-4 dm. d.b.h., bark furrowed. Sample part: (LF TW CO), ST, RT, BK. NCI CODE 0GDK2821-24. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
