United States of America. New York. Suffolk Co. Westhampton. Southwest of Exit 63 from Sunrise Highway, on West side of Route 31-S, a few hundred feet South of Pine Barrens. Elevation near sea level.

Description
A fast growing subspecies, female cones rather large, leaves occasionally 4 per fascicle, annual growth larger than typical subspecies. This subspecies was also seen by J. Silba in Wading River, south of Mantauk Hwy. near the bay. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
