Elevation 390-400 feet; Herrin 7.5’ quadrangle.
Sandy loam, level and poorly drained.
Periodically mowed area with Car ex spp., Panicum
acuminatum, Juncus spp., adjoining open shrubland,
flatwoods remnant. Flowers white; common scattered
perennial herb 0.5 meter tall, stems brittle.
