Pass, just E of Hwy. 150, ca. 50 air mi. E of Salt Lake City. Elev. 10,850 ft., timberline meadows, NNW-facing, 15% slope in well-drained, deep soil, near spruce. With dominants: Juncus, Carex nigricans, Erigeron, Caltha, Antennaria alpina, Veronica wormskjoldii, Poa reflexa; also with Deschampsia, Sibbaldia, Polygonum bistortoides. Rays yellow? disk yellow- orange. Distribution: NY, KSC 03084013
