Habitat
Very flat, sandy, subject to occasional flooding, thin forest and roadsides with many Solanaceae.

Description
Shrub 4 m. tall, with erect trunk and spreading branches; foliage greenish white, odorless when crushed; leaves horizontal or hanging, the inflorescences erect and held above the leaves; flowers seem odorless; corolla white; anthers yellow. Fruiting pedicels reflexed; fruit bright orange, soft and juicy. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
