Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Cordillera Prov. Along road from La Mora to San Joaquín, 3.5 km E of La Mora and turnoff from highway from Santa Cruz to Abapó.

Habitat
At now dry creek bed. In disturbed soil of roadside and old bulldozed areas, but this one along edge of dry channel and may be a natural habitat. Chaco forest with Capparis tweediana, C. speciosa, C. salicifolia, C. retusa, Cnidoscolus, Diplokeleba floribunda, Anadenanthera. Mostly grazed. Common.

Description
Shrub 4 m tall, 10 cm in diameter, one of the largest I have seen. Corolla white; fruit orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
