Wis., la Crosse Co., Site 16, an outside bend in a back-
water slough, mixed with Phalaris, sedge meadow, and
emergent species. During spring the area is effected by
a direct current flow. Mint, abundant in lew areas
growing with the other mints & Polygonum. 1.1 m but
growing prostrate.
