Benth LAMIACEAE Herbs to 5ft tall, abundant, flowers small to large, dark pink to almost white. Growing in a moist field in silty soil (Toledo silt clay; fine, illitic, nonacid, mesic Mollic Endoaquepts), with Cirsium arvense, Comus sericea, Dipsacus sp., Hibiscus moscheutos, Iris pseudacorus, Phalaris arundinacea and Vemonia fasciculata. To the W. side of Rt. 53, just S. of Muddy Creek. Sandusky Co. Elev. 575ft. 41° 27' 02"N, 83° 03' 21"W. UTM 17 328286E, 4590813N (NAD83AVGS84). Coll.
