Steep slope with sparse talus, abundant rock outcrops, and mixed hardwood (Acer saccharum, Carya, Liriodendron, Nyssa, Prunus serotina)- conifer (Pinus taeda, P. virginiana) forest. Corticolous on Quercus prinus.
