  Tree, 4 m tall. Stems ca. 1.5 mm diam. Leaf blades doubly serrate. Stems reddish-brown, with scattered white lenticels. Fruits within inflated bracts; ca. 7 x 4 mm. seeds smooth walled, one per fruit. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
