GUYANA. Region: Potaro-SiparunL Pakaraima Mts, Mt.
Wokomung, Suruwabaru Creek, 2-3 km upstream from its
juncture with Yuarka R. 05°03’N, 59*53'W. Elev. 675 to
750 m. Riverine forest and adjacent slopes, Dicymbe
altsoni dominant; sandy red earth soils and sandstone
talus. Sedge to 0.6 m; inflorescence maroon. In
creekbed.
