    Pond cypress strand with seasonally flowing water, along Tick Island Slough. Soils - Winder sand (Typic Glossaqualfs). Plants in flowing water with basal and cauline leaves submerged for weeks, perhaps months. Community dominated by:Taxodium ascendens - Nyssa biflora / mixed herbs.
