Annual, locally common on sunny but mesic N slope
next to stream, in association with Clarkia unguiculata,
Lotus unifoliolatus, Silene antirrhina, Triodanis biflora,
Trifolium microcephalum, etc. [Less common at the
mouth of the canyon in association with Quercus agrifolia
x Q. wislizeni, Baccharis salicifolia, Cercocarpus
betuhides, Rubus ursinus, Eriodictyon crassifolium
nigrescens, Eriogonum fasciculatum, etc.]
