  • Description

    Pileus 2.5-3 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, dark gray brown, tomentose to subtomentose, with even margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, pinkish vinaceous, with pores concolorous and staining light brown. Stipe 4-6 cm long, 4-5 mm broad, slightly larger below, tapering at base in one, dry, black at first then dark caramel brown above and black below, densely subpruinose to finely scissurate, white at base, with interior watery light brown toward base. Pseudocystidia present, brownish yellow in KOH. Spores mooth.
