ALBANY CO.: On open exposed flats and lower slopes of
small bare ridges east of a dirt road 4 miles south
of Wyoming Highway 130, the junction being 13 miles
west of Interstate 80 at Laramie, on gravelly clay
soil associated with Phlox, Lesquerella, Astragalus,
and other low or depressed species.
Plants forming low cushions; flowers bright or pale
yellow.
