im Plants of the Guiana Shield £abacea& \ crvO Parkia Brown French Guiana, Route 1 from Cayenne to St. Laurent. 5° 28' 23"N, 53° 11' 07" W Elev. 7 m. Roadside vegetation. Red laterite soil. Sapotaceae (bloodwood), Vismia, Inga dominant. Tree 25 m tall. Inflor terminal panicle. Female flowers above; calyx white with brownish sepal lobes; petals yellow.
