sandstone talus, rich in herbs.

slopes on NW side of Mt Ayanganna. 05°24'N, 59°57'W.
Elev. 1100 to 1200 m. Montane evergreen forest, canopy
30-40 m. Soils sandstone and laterite derived. Liana;
peduncle pink and green; calyx pink, occasionally with
green, corolla watermelon red, lobes white. On large
treetrunk.
