Santa Barbara County: In cattle camp area in lower
Castro Canyon within Forest Service boundary, N
slopes of Sierra Madre Mountains, upper Cuyama
Valley. Also in nearby Tennison and Good Canyons,
according to Karen Danielson, USFS, who showed me
this colony. Common; flat with low weeds and grass;
Quercus john-tuckeri- Juniperus woodland.
Associated species: Gutierrezia, Eriastrum hooveri.
