In cut-over area on floodplain along the Savannah
River; along unpaved logging road; just north of
mouth of Big Generostee Creek. Site #84 (Lat.
34o20'30"; Long. 82*47148")* ca. 1.3 miles north
of the S. C. 181 bridge over the Savannah River.
Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed
Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in mid-1980's.
