Weedy, gravelly, unshaded area around commercial
buildings, with Monarda citriodora, Pyrrhopappus
multicaulis, Ratibida columnifera, Gaillardia pulchella,
Solarium elaeagnifolium.
Erect herbs, crushed foliage with rank aroma, like Monarda
fistulosa. Inflorescence lightly and pleasantly fragrant;
bracts light rose purple; corolla whitish, the lower lip
adjacent to the bracts and with a similar light rose purple
color and spots distally.
