center half, 4960 ft, 1515 m.
Barren roadcut slope, area devoid of many
plants, indirectly associated with Monarda
austromontana, Mimosa biuncifera, Quercus
emoryi, Juniperus deppeana, Yucca schot-
tii, Zexmania podocephala, Desmodium, Agave
palmeri, Arbutus arizonica, Glandularia, Quer-
cus rugosa, Rhus trilobata. Locally common,
roadside, perennial, flowers white.
