specimen on which I would like your opinion* I have
identified it tentatively as Laciniaria spicata (L)
Kuntze. I wish your opinion as to whether this plant
is typical for this species as you know it. I have
another plant which resembles it closely but the lower
leaves are twice as broad and much longer * otherwise it'
is quite similar, except for the fact that it i%a;
darker color, the stems being purple throughout* bank-
ing you for past courtesies, I am
