BOTANICAL
In a 5-acre flat sandy fallow cornfield, with annual weeds
such as Lamium amplexicaule, Androsace occidentalis,
Holosteum umbellatum, Descurainia pinnata.
Abundant and forming large solid populations, turning the
field purplish from a distance. Corolla purple. Certainly not
a common species in the Crawford-Grant-Richland county
area.
