United States of America. Utah. Garfield Co. North side of Henry Mountains, in Blue Basin, east of Mt. Ellen Creek and west of Wickiup Ridge, east of road to Wickiup Pass, on west-facing slope.

Habitat

With Picea, Pinus and Betula.

Description

Shrub from several stems emering from the ground; bark shiny, brown/purple with prominent lenticels (like Prunus); flowers pink and white.
