Coastal rain forest with leaf litter. Damp roadside through partially burnt forest clearings. This plant growing in forest clearing.

Description
Shrub to ca. 80 cm. Leaves with smell of cinnamon or cloves. Leaves bright yellow-green above, paler beneath. Corolla lilac with dark magenta-purple blotch at base of upper and lateral lobes. Calyx green in fruit, turning to brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
