- Tavares (Typic Quartzipsamments). Community dominated by
Bumelia tenax - Quercus geminata - Q. myrtifoUa - Saba/ etonia.
Additional associates include Cassia fascicu/ata, and Palafoxia feayi.
Corolla cream-colored, anthers yellow; plants suffrutescent, branched
at base.
