USA. Virginia. Buchanan Co. Hill next to Secondary
State Route 615, between Hoot Owl Gap and Pearly,
west of Grundy. 500-600m. Mixed deciduous forest on
dry slopes and hilltop. With lots of Rhododendron and
Magnolia fraseri in undergrowth.
Few, scattered individuals along the rocky slope of the
road cutting. Flowers pale blue. Oregano scent.
