N. aspect, slope ca. 30%. Found with Acer glabrum, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, [see label for full list]. Abundant for site. Thin rocky, well-drained soil derived from metamorphic rock.

CASSIA COUNTY: Sawtooth National Forest, Albion Mtns., Independence Lakes Rd., elevation ca. 6020 ft., N. aspect, slope ca 30%, thin rocky, well drained soil derived from metamorphic rock. Found with Acer glabrum, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, Rosa woodsii, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Hackelia patens, Poa bulbosa, Zigadenus paniculatus, Elymus spicatus and Leucopoa kingii.
