    United States of America. Wyoming. Sweetwater Co. Green River Basin: North-south trending ridge on east side of Spring Creek, ca. 0.8 mile west of Ramsey Peak and 1.5-2 miles south of Coyote Spring, 13 air miles east of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

  • Habitat

    Openings on gray clay slopes covered by brown to bluish-gray limey slate-sandstone fragments on lower slopes below cliffs amid thickets of Amelanchier alnifolia/Cercocarpus montanus/Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana. Also on west-facing steep scree slopes of barren gray slate below ledges of layered, erosive sandstone slate. Community of low forbs - mostly Cirsium ownbeyi, Cymopterus terebinthinus, Oenothera cespitosa and Penstemon.
