    United States of America. Wyoming. Sweetwater Co. Green River Basin: Currant Creek Ridge at summit and southwest slope of the "Hawks Nest" east of Buckskin Basin, ca. 1 mile west of Little Mountain and ca. 10.2 miles east of Flaming Gorge Reservoir, and 3 miles north of WY Highway 373.

  • Habitat

    Southwest and west-facing slopes. In scattered, semi-barren openings within matrix of Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana-Cercocarpus montanus-Amelanchier alnifolia-Poa cusickii vegetation. With Penstemon humilis. Tan sandy clay with covering of orangish-brown and bleached limy sandstone flakes.
