yon on northeast side of Highway 18 ca 0.1 mi
inside San Bernardino NF, Cushenberry Canyon ca
8 1/2 miles southeast of Lucerne Valley, near
base of limestone talus slope, with yucca,
pinyon, Salazaria, Coleogyne, Forsellesia.
T3N R1E Sec 13/14. Elevation ca 5000'.
Perennial; flowers reddish in bud, yellow at
anthesis.
