    A small or medium sized forest tree. Leaves crowded at the ends of the branchlets; glabrous except for a slight pubescence along the principal veins beneath; under surface pale, almost glaucous. Inflorescence with about 20 flowers in a head, four or five silky flower heads in a whorl, on half inch peduncles.
