Kaniksu National Forest, NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of sec.
18 T.64N R.2W; 5,000 ft., 30% slope, northern
exposure, soil decomposed granite; edge of Tsuga
heterophylla/Clintonia uniflora habitat type;
occasional with Alnus sinuata, Thuja plicata,
Rhododendron albiforum, Abies lasiocarpa and Salix
scouleriana; height up to 2 meters.
